Being a highly sensitive person is not a weakness, if manged properly, it is a HUGE strength. You are among a small portion of the population who has the unique ability to process the world through all your senses and to experience life deeply. Because HSP's are constantly absorbing energies from the world around them, they can be more susceptible to anxiety, fatigue, and depression. Accepting and acknowledging your sensitivity allows you to take a drivers seat to your own well being and keep your positive energy levels high.
Although all HSP's share some common traits, no two are created equally; which is why some people never even realize they are sensitive. Understanding that you are not alone in the way you think and experience the world can feel like a huge weight has been lifted off your heart. Many people experience great freeing life changes when they begin to believe in the power of their uniqueness.
